Unutilized plots around the Old Tax and Bus Park in Kasese Municipality are yet to be developed, according to Mr. Willy Pokopoko, the Kasese Municipal Planner.
Speaking to Kasese Guide Radiothis morning, Mr. Willy revealed that out of thirteen approved developers, only six have submitted building plans, and just three have commenced construction.
He expressed concern over some developers who have shown reluctance in adhering to the terms and regulations of the lease agreements provided by the council, which include strict timelines for the development of the plots.

Mr. Willy also urged developers who are facing challenges to seek guidance from the relevant authorities to avoid potential inconveniences.
