Kizungu market in Kasese municipality will be built soon, Mr. Pimako Kasereka, the local council three chairperson for Nyamwamba Division has revealed.
Mr. Pimako’s revelation comes as the apex of a friction between his office and that of the local council one chairperson who in collaboration with some councilors, reportedly mobilized market vendors against market dues payment should the division fail to build the market.
This did not go well with Mr. Pimako who threatened to drag to court the un moved local leaders and market vendors in the area.
Speaking to Kasese guide radio shortly after a consultation meeting with the market vendors yesterday, Mr. Pimako announced that the market would be budgeted for next financial year, calling for calm among his pledge beneficiaries. Mr. Pimako speaking………
