About 400 Catholic Christians from the Diocese of Kasese in Uganda and Butembo-Beni Diocese in the Democratic Republic of Congo have set off to Katosa in Kyenjojo district for the annual St. Adolf Ludigo pilgrimage.
Speaking to Kasese Guide Radio at Kasese Cathedral parish Church before setting off yesterday, Ms Bela Mutesa Kabugho, the Guild President for the Martyrs in the diocese of Kasese said they were to keep in prayer during their holy walk ahead of the 27th January celebrations of the event for peace and unity to reign in families, the Church and Uganda. Some of the footpilgrims interviewed said the Pilgrim was majorly to cast their burdens to Christ and thank God for his mercies by strengthening their faith and relationship with the Creator through the intercessions of St. Adolf Ludigo Tibeyalirwa. Some pilgrims speak….
