A thirty one year-old man survived lynching by an angry mob in Mumbuzi cell in Kasese Municipality over allegedly stealing a pig, Mr. Samson Mutahunga, the area local council one chairperson, has confirmed.
Ms Sylvia Musoki Nyabahasa, said she called in the neighbors after seeing a man forcing two pigs out of their sty before the suspect’s arrest by her neighbors she alerted.
When asked, Mr. Mutahunga said the local residents surrounded Mr. Hassan Masereka Bright, who reportedly owns a pork joint in Kikorongo; battered him before he called in police for rescue.

Coercively induced to speak in the hands of police, Mr. Hassan, the suspect, said he resorted to stealing over multiple debts from people in his village. END
