    By Augustine Mumbere,

The Kasese Municipal Mayor, His Worship Chance Kahindo has called for massive collaborated efforts aimed at recalling the traditional tree species that make the environment more accommodative to life.

He said some climatic challenges are as a result of adopting tree species that do not only exhaust the soil but do little to the rain making process.

Mr. Chance who expressed his disappointment about some local community who are ignorant about certain things but do not want to be advised, later called for no blame games about the unreliable rains he said are caused by human activities that have not been sensitive to protecting the ecosystems in Kasese district. He was scared that the situation may be worse in future if the local population does not change to better approaches aimed at protecting nature. END
