    Peter Baluku’s body, a nurse who perished in an ambulance was laid to rest in Munkunyu S/C

    The Body of Peter Baluku Kamuramba Stout 41 a health worker at Bwera Hospital who perished in an ambulance together with others at Nyakigumba Town Council along Fort Portal-Kasese road in Bunyangabu district was laid to rest yesterday at his home in Kacungiro village, Munkunyu sub-county.

    In her Eulogy, the Medical Supretendant Bwera Hospital Dr.Mary Munyangwa, described the deceased as courageous, God Loving and disciplined worker who died on duty.

    Dr.Mary said late Peter an enrolled Nurse who was assigned duty to handle emergencies died at a time the Hospital needed his service both spiritually and medically. Dr.Mary on peter…….

    Mr. Wilson Maserka Kasagama, an uncle to the deceased challenged mourners to emulate peter whom he said lived a loving and peaceful life on earth.

    Mr. Wilson who hailed the deceased for his utmost contribution to both the family and community described his death as misery to people.

    Rev.Fr.Francis Kojo Kule, the rector St. Johns Minor Seminary, described his nephew’s life of service as excellent saying he had died a martyr’s death.

    An official from Human resource office Kasese district, Mr. Simon Kiiza said the deceased will be entitled to his gratuity and compensation by government.

    Late peter was survived with one widow and six children.

    May his soul rest in eternal peace. End .
