    People have resorted to theft in MLTC-Kasese district after business closure.

    As Business remains closed at Mpondwe Lhubiriha Boarder in Kasese district most people have resorted to theft, the Chairperson LC3 Mpondwe Lhubiriha town council Mr. Selevest Mapoze has said.

    He disclosed the information in an interview with Kasese guide radio in Kasese town.

    Mr. Mapoze said that most people at the Boarder have been used to the life of hand to mouth and with the closure of Business, some have resorted to stealing their neighbors. Mr. Mapoze one……

    He said Business women and men in both DRC and Uganda have also started a practice of packing their produce in cargo trucks so that they can be allowed to cross the Border as no passengers are not allowed as per the Directive and a similar approach of carrying cattle in trucks has also been applied.
