Mr. Joseph Mulex, the Executive Director Vodem- Advocacy Uganda, has urged people to write wills.
A Will is a legal document that comes into effect when one dies and records how one wants his or her executors to deal with their estate upon their demise.
Speaking to Kasese Guide Radio today at his office in Kamulikwizi ward opposite Nyakatonzi Cooperative Union, Mulex said he will use this month to teach residents how to effectively write wills.
He explained that the majority of cases in family courts around the country are due to failure to leave Wills by the deceased, an omission he said has led to family feuds. Mr. Mulex speaking…..
Mulex said a Will being a legal document sets forth someone’s wishes regarding the distribution of properties and the care of any Minor children. He used the same opportunity advising parents and Guardians to engage holiday makers in active production but also warned them against extravagant expenditures during this festive season. END.
