Kanyangeya Pentecostal Church in Nyamwamba Division Kasese Municipality, has temporarily closed to allow Police investigations over the land ownership.
No official Comment yet from Police, but the Gombolola Internal Security Officer-GISO for Nyamwamba Division, Mr. Friday Mutiba said today’s closure follows a land disagreement between Pastor Noah Muhindo of Kanyangeya full Gospel Church who reportedly wanted to change the land ownership to Kanyangeya Pentecostal Church.
It’s alleged that Pastor Noah originally known as a believer in full Gospel church, officially declared that he was serving the Pentecostal faith and claimed ownership of Pentecostal properties, something that raised the eyebrows of Kanyangeya Pentecostal church administration, leading to Police intervention.
