The Chairperson for the Way of Salvation Sacco in Nyamwamba Division in Kasese Municipality has been arrested over reported extortion from the intending PDM Beneficiaries, Kasese Guide Radio can reliably report.
Police Spokesperson for Rwenzori East Region, SP Nelson Tumusiime, confirmed the information and identified the suspect as one Mr. Henry Songo.
Mr. Amon Butseme, the group Vice Chairperson, said they arrested his senior after realizing that he had solicited nearly to one million shillings from some members as facilitation fees but no results.
