Mr. Elias Byamungu, the Kasese Chief Administrative Officer has called for collaborated efforts in the fight against the alleged PDM ghost beneficiaries in Kasese District.
Speaking to Kasese Guide Radio shortly after meeting local council three chairpersons of Bukonzo County East and West under their Umbrella Association G18 at the District headquarters today, Byamungu said Police has commenced with investigations on allegations that Civil servants in Mweya cell in Katwe-Kabatooro town council were reportedly among PDM beneficiaries in Kasese district, yet the targeted Population were left out after connivance with Parish chiefs and town agents. Kasese District Boss, Mr. Erifaz Muhindi reaffirmed his commitment to make a follow-up and scrutinize lists of beneficiaries at sub-county and town council levels to ensure ghost beneficiaries are brought to book.
