Three Data Collectors in Kasese District have been expelled on allegation of demanding an explanation from the district senior planner, Mr. Joseph Isingoma over reported irregularities in their payments.
Ms.Jackline Biira not her original name like others, told Kasese Guide Radio they were scrapped off from the list of Data Collectors after inquiring why they were paid Twelve thousand Shillings per day compared to their counterparts in Kabale district that were allegedly receiving twenty four thousand per day.
According to the appointment letters seen by Jackline, their colleagues in Kabale were reportedly awarded appointment letters to work for three weeks at 24000 thousand per day while those in Kasese were given two weeks at half pay. Ms.Jackline on data collectors….
Hon.Isekambere Bwambale, the District Councilor representing Nyakabingo Sub-County acknowledged to have received similar reports of alleged bribery from youths in favor of jobs.
Mr.Isingoma said his decision to dismiss three data collectors was based on accusation of inciting violence on different social media platforms.
