Kyanya Ward Parish Development Model beneficiaries in Ibanda-Kyanya town council Kasese District have called for the immediate transfer of their town agent Mr. Charles Masumbuko, on allegations of abuse of office.
During a meeting chaired by the town clerk yesterday at Kyanya trading center, Ms. Best Ferigo, the members alleged that Mr. Masumbuko has been extorting Money from beneficiaries, claiming it will cater for Data and office expenses, which according to the beneficiaries was obtaining money by false pretense. According to the town clerk, she will verify eighty four members who reportedly received 84 Million shillings under PDM after complaints arose that some of beneficiaries were not bonified residents in Kyanya ward.

Mr. Charles Masumbuko, the town agent Kyanya Ward, described the allegations as baseless saying his signature was allegedly forged by a one Rogers Bahithya, a PDM Volunteer to withdraw the money.
Masumbuko, told our reporter on Phone last evening he had reported to relevant authorities about the irregularities in PDM.
