Youths in Muhokya Sub-county, Kasese District, have expressed dissatisfaction with the criteria used by Parish Development Committees in selecting beneficiaries for the Parish Development Model (PDM) funds.

Mr. Jonani Muhindo, Wilbert Thembo, and Mr. Jockus Bwambale residents of Nyamirami Village and members of the National Unity Platform (NUP) allege that they have been repeatedly denied access to the PDM funds despite applying multiple times.
The concerned youth have now tasked the sub-county leadership to explain why they have been consistently left out of the program.

In response, Mr. Asanairi Mugusu, the LC3 Chairperson of the area, and Hon. Jackson Mbaju Kathika, NUP Coordinator for Rwenzori Region, called for fair and transparent distribution of the funds, emphasizing that political affiliation should not be a factor in determining beneficiaries.
