The Kasese district council is to guide government on where a government General hospital can be constructed in Kasese Municipality, the health Committee of Parliamentary has recommended.
The health committee of Parliament chaired by Col. Victoria Nakesa, a UPDF representative in the 11th house is in Kasese district over the recent pressures and attempted community protests caused by the health Ministry decision last year to deactivate medical supplies of Kilembe Mines hospital
Speaking to the media shortly after meeting the local leaders and community members at Kilembe mines Hospital premises in Bulembia Division, the committee Vice Chairperson, Hon. Joel Sebikali said immediate reactivation of medical supplies and handing over to government the land title of the new hospital site; are some of their recommendations to Parliament.
