Ms. Ruth Labongo, the Community Development Officer for Maliba subcounty in Kasese district has called for a sense of humanity by parents, some of whom can be perceived for beasts.
Ms Labongo who was referring to the suffering and ailing five-year-old boy currently admitted at St. Paul’s hospital in Kasese, wondered what explanation such parents can give for abandoning a child for other romances she described as a shame before God and the community.
Ms Labongo who appreciated Ms Jane Masika, a whistle blower for her concern about the state of the boy, called for the intervention by Good Samaritan for support to the patient whose health require enough resources. Ms Labongo speaking……
Commending Ms Labongo and Mr. Faisal Bagumira, the Kasese District Probation and welfare officer for their timely interventions, was Ms Jane, a coffee farmer registrar in Kiruli 1A village in Maliba subcounty, who said she was attracted by hyperventilation that caused her suspicions and fear before talking interest. Dr. Samson Karabyo, the Medical Director for St. Paul’s Hospital said the baby boy was malnourished and requires enough inputs, thus, calling for collaborated efforts to save the life of Gilbert Mumbere.
