By Kyamanduma Patrick,
Parents in Kasese Municipality have been warned against leaving their children to loiter in town but engage them in productive work during this holidays.
The warning was issued by Mr. Erias Kabega, the headteacher at Kasese Muslim Nursery and Primary School, after observing that Kasese town is over congested with holiday makers.
Addressing parents yesterday at the Graduation ceremony of top class pupils joining primary one next year, Kabega called for good parenting during this long holiday by actively involving children in economic activities, which he said could deter them from bad peer groups.
Mr. Kabega speaking…..
Hon. Ukash Musyenene Swayibu, the Kasese Municipal speaker called for mandatory theology studies both in schools and homes, which he thinks will help in promoting moral therapy among children.
Hon. Ukasha speaking….
He encouraged teachers to follow their professional ethics and work towards achieving good performance among the learners. END.               Â
