    Parents have been asked to be creative and support initiatives by Gov’t

    The Kasese district local council five chairperson, Mr. Erifaz Muhindi calls for creativity by Parents and guardians to support initiatives by government to improve the education standards in Uganda.

    Mr. Muhindi who said public schools were only aided by government but belong to the community, described as wrong for parents to plan for their children in school at the last minute.

    He also called for joint income generating projects like bricklaying that would see schools built to standards to support government efforts.

    Mr. Muhindi said Kiruli SDA primary School would be roofed by the Ministry of Education and sports because parents there had put up walls for classrooms, a move he asked other areas to emulate to win support from government and her development partners. Mr. Muhindi speaks…
