Mr. William Kamusede, the Chairperson local council one for Rusese B cell in Mpondwe Lhubiriha town council in Kasese district has blamed parents and guardians for current friction between head teachers and the Kasese Resident District Commissioner over the development fees in public primary schools.
Addressing the celebrants during the giveaway party of his daughter, Ms. Sarah Kamusede to Lawrence Soninge in Rusese on Saturday, Mr. Kamusede said whereas government was paying for the education of the learners in government aided schools, it was the role of the parents and guardians to give financial back up.
Mr. Kamusede who said the RDC shouldn’t be blamed for doing his role, was disappointed that the parents who agree to make little contributions, were turning around to report to higher authorities head teachers he said were mere implementers of PTA resolutions.
