Parents of the eleven students who were abducted during the tragic Allied Democratic Forces (ADF) attack on Mpondwe-Lhubiriha Secondary School in Mpondwe-Lhubiriha Town Council, Kasese District, are appealing to the Uganda People’s Defence Forces (UPDF) to intensify efforts to search for their missing children.
The attack, which occurred on June 16, 2023, resulted in the death of 43 people and left many families devastated and displaced.

Meanwhile, Pastor Abraham Baluku Birenge, the Adventist Communication Director for the Rwenzori Field, visited the affected families and delivered a donation of UGX 3 million. The funds were contributed by Adventist World Radio–Light FM, known as “The Voice of Hope.”
