The increased cases of early pregnancies in Karambi sub-county have partly been attributed to failure by the parents to provide for their children.
Speaking to our reporter in an interview, Hon. Charles Kaliba, the district councilor for Karambi Sub County said failing to provide for children and sharing with them about their challenged especially in this covid-19 period has contributed much to the deteriorating morals of children. He later asked his electorates to rally behind leaders who can deliver to their sub-county if they are to realize development in the area.
Meanwhile, some of the Minors in Kanyangeya camp have decried many challenges ranging from lacking enough space for accommodation that may result into rape cases.
Our reporter interacted with some of the minors who testified that ever since floods displaced them, they have never got peace adding that they have been facing challenged with old men who have started entering in their small roams during night hours.
