Mr. Julius Mukeri, the local council three Chairperson for Kisinga subcounty in Kasese District partly blames some parents and guardians for the low capitation grants under Universal Education program in some schools in the district.
Speaking to Kasese Guide Radio yesterday, Mr. Mukeri said to benefit from the grant, a learner and his parent’s full data must have been captured at the registration of the child at a particular school.
Speaking to Kasese Guide Radio at Give a Goat Africa headquarters in Rwesororo village in Kisinga Sub County yesterday, Mr Mukeri underscored the need for parents and guardians to individually register their children at their respective schools to enable teachers associate with the learners’ weaknesses and strength, including their health status as well.
