Hon. Johnson Mulekeri Maate, the Kasese district Male councilor representing Muhokya sub-county has attributed the increasing cases of school dropouts to basically low passion about education and not poverty per say by parent and guardians.
In brief interview with our reporter in Kasese town on Saturday, Hon. Mulekeri said besides ignorance and lack of passion for education, most parents and guardians are reckless about the future of their children thus, not bothered about what is required to support the education of their children.
