Parents and Guardians have been asked to support the talents of their children as it is a requirement in the new education curriculum.
Speaking in an interview with our reporter shortly after the inter-house music dance and drama competition held at Bright Academy SS, Mr. Jackson Baluku, the chief adjudicator who hailed the participants said these arts help students to showcase talents and open their thinking capacity about certain tasks.
He later announced Nairobi house as the overall winner with 477 points followed by Johannesburg house. Mr. Jackson speaking……
Hellen Mutesi, Derick Asaba, Muhuza Racheal and Nasasasira all students hailed the school management for planning the inter house MDD competitions that aims not only to explore their talents but also teach them about culture and conserving the environment.

Meanwhile, Mr. Amon Muhindo the deputy head teacher said the reason for this year’s theme “my climate, my future” was to teach students how to deal with climate change. Other houses in the MDD competition were Kampala, Dare Salem, Cairo and Accra. END
