Mr. Elisha Baluku Njike, the Deputy head teacher for Muzahura COU Primary school in Kitswamba subcounty in Kasese district has refuted allegations that parents and guardians at the school refused the newly posted head teacher to the institution.
Mr. Njike who described the talk as empty rumor, said the school including the parents, were patiently waiting for Mr. Harry Kisogho, their new head teacher, contrary to reports that the community had resisted his appointment to the school.
He also listed absenteeism, late coming and lack of clean and safe water as some of the challenges at the school. Mr. Njike speaking……
The Kasese district councilor representing Kitswamba subcounty, Hon. Gad Mugisha concurred with Mr. Njike, saying the reports were mere rumors.
In separate interview, the local council three chairperson for Kitswamba sub county, Mr. Yofesi Katenene said whereas the harvest season did not go well as expected by farmers, parents should not fear to negotiate with schools heads he asked to be cooperative to some family heads who may not afford paying school dues at once.
