Madam Jane Ithungu, the head teacher for Bwera Demonstration primary school in Mpondwe-Lhubiriha town council in Kasese district, calls for proper parenting based on appreciating the status of children who require close monitoring, sharing and guidance.
Madam Ithungu who was addressing a parents’ meeting at the school premises yesterday, called for exemplary parenting that require inspirational messages to the young people, encouragement, support and access to activities that enable them master key developmental tasks than diversionary involvements influenced by their peers.
She later called for proper feeding, spiritual and physical guidance that would prepare a child for future tasks. Ms Ithungu speaking…….
Earlier, Mdm Teddy Biira, the school deputy head teacher urged parents against domestic violence that badly affects the lives of children.
Mr. John Baguma, the school PTA chairperson, called for proper use of the holidays by primary seven, senior four and six leavers whom he said need to timely prepare for their future. END
