    Over 300 pillars commissioned to spearhead fundraising drive towards completion of Kasese Cathedral Church in Kasese town

    About three hundred development pillars of St. Johns Bukangara Catholic Church have been commissioned to spearhead the fundraising drive towards the completion of Kasese Cathedral Church in Kasese town.

    The Parish priest Rev. Fr. John Baptist Kule who presided over the function held at the parish this afternoon said the cathedral owes the Parish eleven million shillings for the completion works of the cathedral.

    Fr. John asked the pillars to mobilize the lay faithful to raise funds that the ordinary of Kasese his Lordship Rt. Rev. Francis Aquirinus Kibira is expected to receive during his pastoral visit to Bukangara Parish by the end of December.

    Fr. John hailed the pillars for responding to his invitation and raising over Five million shillings both in cash and pledges, saying this signified love for Gods work among his servants. Fr. John on Pillars…

    Mr. Augastine Baguma Katabura, the newly elected Chairperson of development pillars plans to have quarterly meetings with pillars to lay development strategies for St. Johns Bukangara Parish.

    Mr. Katabura calls for collaborated effort among believers in Christ for the sustainability of church projects. END.
