Kasese district is to recruit over 300 civil servants in the education sector next financial year, Hon. Girivasio Monday Bwambale, the Kasese District Secretary for social services has revealed.
During an education mobilization meeting held at Nyakabingo primary school, Hon. Girivazio said 40 school head teachers, 100 deputy head teachers, 100 senior teachers, 70 classroom teachers and 5 more inspectors of schools were to be recruited to fill the gaps mainly in the education sector under the new plan to redirect the education sector in the district. He also urged classroom teachers to guide and counsel learners as another way to facilitate excellent performance in schools.
Hon. Asasio Isekambere Bwambale, the Kasese district councilor for Nyakabingo sub-county called for no finger pointing but shared roles that would see his subcounty improve in academics in the future.
