More than two million shillings was collected last weekend for the purchase of Holy Missionary Childhood uniforms at St. Dominic Katholhu Roman Catholic Church in the Diocese of Kasese with a call on parents and guardians to invest in the academic and Spiritual nourishment of their children.
Mr. Augustine Muserero, the day’s Chief Guest who argued parents to interest their children with the Church values, asked them to fully support government efforts by contributing to the development needs of their schools for purposes of enriching the learning process that will in future translate into excellent academic performances by their children.

In his speech later after Holy Mass, Rev. Fr. Fedius Bwambale, the Curate for Bukangara parish, called for focused parenting that would see parents and guardians use the best approaches of correcting children in mistakes than applying an iron hand that keep the affected teens under fear. In his message, Hon. Godfrey Kabyanga who contributed five hundred thousand shillings towards the cause, asked children to be respectful, focused and fear God if they were to live relevantly. END
