Over twenty internally displaced people encamped at Kanyangeya primary school in Nyamwamba division Kasese Municipality that reportedly stormed the office of the RDC this morning demanding food relief was bounced back.
Speaking to Kasese guide radio this morning in Kasese town, the Chairperson Kanyangeya camp, Mr. Julius Monday Kule said the group had come to request the RDC release food relief donated to flood victims last week by the district Kadhi.
Mr. Monday however said their request was turned away by the RDC Lt. Joe Walunsimbi who immediately ordered them to vacate his office saying the food store is apparently at the district heaquarters.

Addressing the press on behalf of his senior, the Deputy RDC Kasese, Mr. Joshua Masereka reported that the camp leadership was instructed to compile a list of victims that are currently staying in the camp but to his dismay the number keeps on accumulating causing suspension to his office.
