About 100 children from Nyabugando Child Development Centre-CDC took to the street this afternoon in a child rights promotional walk of the belated Day of the African Child, commemorated all over Africa on Thursday(16th.June.2022).
During the walk organized by compassion pupils and teachers, children marched from the center to Nyabugando trading center in Mpondwe-Lhubiriha town council to express their freedom to education.
The children, hoisted placards and flyers proclaiming their rights.
The placards emphasized theme, “eliminating harmful practices that affect children”.
Mr. Ferezi Kule, the projects director agitated for equal opportunities for the children.Mr.Ferezi on rights……
Rev.Sitariko Masereka, of Nyabugando Baptist Church urged parents and teachers to nurture their children in line with the church ministry.
