The Diocesan Pastoral Coordinator for the diocese of Kasese, Rev. Fr. Modesto Kasenyangwe has called for limited movements for outreach pastoral work due to the surging COVID-19 cases but instead encourage Christian families to do daily prayers, as well as reminding them about the church values and norms.
Speaking to Kasese Guide Radio in an interview in Kasese, Fr. Modesto Kasenyangwe who says that whereas outreaches were paramount, this period is not ripe for it but other related approaches can be employed to reach Christians during this time COVID-19 threats.

Fr. Kasenyangwe asked parents and guardians to fulfill their parental vows by teaching their children church values and norms, as well as praying as a family which is the first church.

Earlier, The Bishop Diocese of Kasese Rt. Rev. Francis Aquirinus Kibira Kambale had requested Christian families to create a sacred place with an Alter, holy cross and a statue of Mother Mary and pray every day. END
