People Front for Freedom political party in Kasese district has commended the government of Uganda for the ongoing survey work and boundary opening on the disputed pieces of land in Kabukero and Ibuga villages in Katswamba subcounty in Kasese district.
The development follows a ruling by the High Court Resident Judge, Hon. Justice Lawrence Tweyanze in regard to a petition by Mr. Luka Kiiza and others, who claimed ownership of Kyabatukura land in Katswamba subcounty.
Speaking to Kasese Guide Radio at his office in Kasese last evening, Mr. Saulo Maate, the People’s Front for Freedom coordinator for Kasese district, commended government for the development he said should also cover the internally displaced flood victims encamped in Muhokya town council in Kasese district.
Mr. Saulo also prayed to a deliberate plan for the camp occupants to benefit from government programs, including the popular Parish development model program. Mr. Saulo speaking……..
