Mr. Ronald Bwambale Kabuku, the Forum for Democratic Change Chairperson for Kasese district, has hailed security for her professionalism and being steadfast in dealing with the last week’s armed attack on security installations in Kasese and the region.

He also commended the local community members for their support to the security plans, including their vigilance and timely reports.
In a press briefing held at his office yesterday, Mr. Kabuku however warned members of the community against killing suspects, saying such decisions undermine the rule of law, often results in the killing or injuring of innocent people due to a lack of due process, as well as frustrating security to get better clues to back their security operations against the enemy. To the retired Maj. John Sibendire Katusabe, an independent contender for the Kasese Municipal MP seat, the attacks were a manifestation of powers of darkness that required Spiritual interventions by all believers in Christ. Maj. Katusabe speaking………
Mr. Kabuku had earlier said that mob justice deprives individuals of fundamental rights, including the presumption of innocence and the right to a fair trial. END
