The Kasese Municipal senior physical planner, Mr. Wilfred Baluku Kamusede has announced a renewed operation against illegal structures which he described as a total frustration to the Municipal plans for a city status in future.
He also said the illegal structures were also a contradiction to the Municipal mission for a clean, green, well planned and poverty free Kasese Municipality.
Addressing the local residents of Kidodo cell in Kasese Municipality during an operation where Mr. Simon Baluku, an illegal local developer was arrested, the seemingly irritated Mr. Wilfred said the renewed operation was a whip against illegal structures after four years of his silence. Mr. Wilfred later threatened to deal with any local developers whose structures are built on road reserves, public land and along the risky drainage water channels. Mr. Wilfred speaking2……..
He also asked the local leaders to be cooperative but enforcing compliance to lawful guidelines by the local leaders. END.
