Officials from Obusinga Bwa-Rwenzururu yesterday held a meeting with various stakeholders from Bukonzo East constituency in preparartion for the Omusinga visit on November 25 this month.
Led by the acting Prime Minister for the Kingdom, Hon. Sele Masereka, the team met the religious leaders, civil servants, Native chiefs, heads of Sacco’s, chairperson Boda-Boda, taxi operators and Managers of community based organizations at Kisinga town council headquarters.

Hon.Erican Ndyoka, the Minister for Culture and tourism in Obusinga Bwa-Rwenzururu, said they were in the process of sensitizing the masses about the significance of the cultural institution.
He urged all Rwenzururu subjects to embrace tree planting on the bear hills as a way of mitigating against the effects of climate change and prevent the snows from receding. Hon. Ndyoka speaking…

At the meeting the stakeholders nominated a committee led by, Mr. Eria Kambere to help in organizing for the first visit of King Mumbere in the area. END.
