Bakira- Ikongo Foundation Kasese-Uganda have asked the Rwenzururu King, His Majesty Charles Wisley Mumbere Iremangoma to establish the Kingdom, Museum and library, revive the indigenous University and establish micro-irrigation schemes among others.
In their report presented to him at his royal Palace in Kamaiba ward in Kasese Municipality yesterday during a courtesy call, the chairperson Bakira-Ikongo foundation, Mr. Elisha Muliwabyo said the objective of the foundation is to promote Education, Welfare, Health, Agriculture, cultural values and norms among in the community.

Responding to their concerns, Omusinga said state house has offered 50 scholarships to the kingdom aimed to promote education but most especially scientists, therefore appealing to his subjects to apply for scholarships.
He said the kingdom is planning to revive the university and building library but the resource envelope is still low.

Omusinga warned his subjects against selling land, saying the practice not only affect production but increase poverty at household levels.
