The Rwenzururu King His Majesty Charles Wesley Mumbere Irema-Ngoma, has relieved Hon Best Juliet Bakoko of her duties as Minister of Cooperatives, Wealth-creation and Special Projects in the Obusinga Bwa Rwenzururu following her request.
Hon.Best Juliet Bakoko has been Minister since August 17th last year when Omusinga appointed the current Cabinet, which is headed by Rt Hon Joseph Kule Muranga.
The Omusinga’s April 27th letter relieving Hon best of her duties in OBR says she had requested to be retired due to her busy government work as Administrator Bwera Hospital, deteriorating health conditions and stress resulting from balancing work and family.
According to the Kingdom spokesperson and public relations, Hon. John Thawithe the letter was hand-delivered to this office on Tuesday and copied to Kasese district local government and Hon Best Bakoko.
The Omusinga commends her for having been a loyal, kind, cooperative and hard-working servant whose services will be missed a lot.
Hon Juliet best Bakoko, the Education and Sports Minister on the previous OBR Cabinet, has also been a member of the Dialogue Committee, established by the Omusinga, to reconcile the OBR and Central Government after the unfortunate clashes of November 2016.END.
