Katebwa-Kiboota veterans group in Bunyangabu district has asked the Rwenzururu King, His Majesty Charles Wesley Mumbere Iremangoma to lobby government for a technical school to skill their vulnerable youth as means to boost the education standards in their district.
Presenting a report to the Omusinga, Mr. Saleri Thembo Kitsa, the group chairperson said their community had been hit badly by the recent 2016 security raid on the Obuhikira place in Kasese, leaving the community with vulnerable orphans, widows and widowers who may independently live should they be empowered by working hard through hands on skills.
