The suspected misbehavior of Mr. Ofwono Opondo against Lord Mayor, Erias Lukwago on TV show is a true reflection of the arrogance in the National Resistance Movement, the National Unity Platform coordinator for Rwenzori sub region, Mr. Brean Basisa has said.
While on a TV talk show in Kampala last week, Mr. Ofwono Opondo, the government spokesperson lost his temper and threatened to slap Mr. Lukwago over what is perceived to have been insinuating statements by the Lord Mayor over the said poor manner in which the Soroti polls were conducted.
Mr. Basisa insists that the poor conduct by Opondo is a clear manifestation of the indiscipline that the ruling NRM party has instilled in her members. Mr. Basisa speaking……….
Whereas the Kasese Municipal NRM chairperson, Mr. Selevano Mulhondi condemns the reactions by Mr. Ofwono Opondo, he however describes Mr. Basisa`s statements as misleading, asking the NUP coordinator to differentiate between personality and political party moral values. Mr. Mulondi speaking………..
