Lt. Joe Walunsimbi, the Kasese Resident District Commissioner has reiterated the government commitment to champion interests of Persons with Disabilities across the district.
He told the disability fraternity that the NRM has been at the forefront of championing the interests of Persons with Disabilities, through a number of affirmative actions.
Presiding over the International Day of Persons Living with Disabilities-PWDS held at Rwenzori square in Kasese town yesterday, Lt. Walunsimbi directed the Kasese Chief Administrative Officer, town clerks and Community Development officers to always give priority to special interest groups to benefit on Government programs.

Walunsimbi underscored the fact that historically, the NRM has gained the reputation of being the vanguard of change and transformation.
