The Kasese Resident District Commissioner has commenced with investigations regarding Hon. Besweri Bwambale, a former Rwenzururu Kingdom Deputy Defence Minister allegedly soliciting money in disguise of funding the welfare of unsuspicious former Royal guards.
The investigations follow the recent concerns by the Rwenzururu King, His Majesty Charles Wesley Mumbere Iremangoma against Hon. Addressing community members, clan leaders, chiefs, political and religious leaders at Kabatunda Child Development Center in Kirabaho-Kabatunda town council in Kasese district over the weekend, Mr. Tiene Tsongo, the Kasese Assistant Resident District Commissioner said they were investigating reports that Hon. Besweri Bwambale, a local resident of Bwesumbu subcounty was illegally soliciting funds in disguise of printing identity cards and purchasing uniforms for the Kingdom Royal guards.
