The Minister of labour, gender and social development in the Obusinga Bwa Rwenzururu, Hon Naume Mbambu has re-echoed her earlier warning against some women she said were silently suffering in the hands of irresponsible buttering husbands.

During an inception meeting to launch the new project of promoting the second chance of education for vulnerable and marginalized young girls and young women held in education board room in Rukoki, Hon Naume said that time was ripe for married women to open up on men who butter them at the expense of protecting marriages that never work.

She later observed that for women opening up to parents and Church leaders against arrogant men who mistreat them would minimize cases of breaking marriages and street children. Hon Naume speaking……

The Kasese district Inter Faith Committee General secretary who is the Ibanda parish Priest, Fr. Expedito Masereka hailed the pilot study he said will ably guide the project before warning family heads against promoting a permissive life. Fr Expedito speaking……

The project officer forum for African women educationist Uganda chapter, Mr. Kenneth Kapuru said that the project will be piloted in the sub-counties of Bwesumbu, Munkunyu and Maliba. END
