Parents and Guardians of Nyamwamba Primary school in Kasese Municipality have resolved to pay development fee to ease learning of their children.
The resolution was made this afternoon during a parents and Teachers Association-PTA meeting held at the school.
Some parents including, Neverless Masika like others encouraged their colleagues to implement the resolution in order to avoid friction with the school management. Some parents speaking….
Ms Irene Muhindo, the School headmistress said the PTA meeting was aimed at harmonizing with parents about payment of development fee, which she said had caused arrest of head teachers in Kasese district.

He advised parents who anticipate challenges in paying development fee to visit the school administration and agree on terms and conditions, without chasing the learners from school as per government policy. Lt. Joe Walunsimbi, the Resident District Commissioner for Kasese has threatened to arrest head teachers reportedly violating universal primary and secondary education. END.
