The Former Rwenzururu Premier Hon. Gad Mbayahi Bakwanamaha says it’s a contradiction of the Kiyira cultural norms for the Rwenzururu Queen to occupy the recently built Nyangereka Royal residential house without the King.
The Rwenzururu Premier, Rt. Hon. Joseph Muranga Kule announced last week that the Royal family led by the Nyabaghole Agnes Ithungu Asimawe was due to visit the Kingdom and that joint efforts should put to have the Nyangereka royal house complete before the royal visit scheduled for next month.
Whereas the Kingdom Premier said the visit was in line with plans to level grounds for the anticipated grand welcome to the King this year, Mr. Gad calls for consultations of the elders on whether Nyabaghole should be the first before her husband to occupy the Royal residential house.
