National Union of Disabled persons of Uganda (NUDIPU) has donated One hundred liters of Petrol fuel, food and non-food relief items to the last week flood victims in Kasese Municipality.
The relief was delivered yesterday by the Programs Manager NUDIPU Mr. Martin Ssenoga and handed over to the district Vice Chairperson, Mr. Girivazio Monday Bwambale at KADUPED office in Kasese town.
Mr. Ssenoga, said the relief items will be given to the affected households after assessment by a team from the District Disaster Management Committee. Mr. Ssenoga speaking….
Mr. Girivazio, commended NUDIPU for the timely donation to the affected households, but also pledged to use the fuel for the intended purpose aimed to tame disaster in Kasese District.

The Principal Secretary in the office of Kasese Chief Administrative Officer, Mr. Mustafa Kikusa, called for an emergency fund from government and Partners in Development as a lasting solution for the repeated floods in Kasese District. Mr. Kikusa speaking….
