    Ntungamo Principal Human Resource Officer underfire from councilors

    Ms. Jennifer Muheirwe, the Ntungamo District Principal Human Resource Officer, is under fire from the district council for alleged misconduct.

    Several district councilors yesterday took to the floor and leveled a string of accusations against Muheirwe.  

    She was accused of among others withholding salaries of staff, wage deductions, refusal to provide staff lists, harassment of pensioners, and a failure to collaborate with her colleagues.

    Hon. Saidat Tushabe, the Rugarama Sub County sub county councilor, and Finance Committee chairperson accused Ms Muheirwe of being uncooperative.

    In response to the allegations raised by council members, Ntungamo Chief Administrative Officer, Mathias Ndifuna admitted to their veracity, expressing his repeated efforts to address the issues in vain over lack of unity within the department that

    The District Speaker Twikirize instructed the Chief Administrative Officer, Mathias Ndifuna, to take appropriate action against Ms. Muheirwe. END
