The National Resistance Movement heavyweights in Kawempe Division plan to use the door to door strategy to stop the opposition dominance in the division.
For over 20 years, Kawempe Division has been in the hands of the opposition in all governance positions in Kampala.
During the launch of President Museveni’s campaigns in Kawempe Division at Kawempe Mbogo playgrounds on Saturday which gathered thousands of NRM supporters, the NRM leaders in the division announced plans to use the door-to-door campaign strategy during the upcoming campaigns, which will run from November 10th to January 13th, according to Ms Goodra Behakanira, a prominent businesswoman and member of the NRM, to explain to people the achievements of the party in the country and the Division.
