The National Resistance Movement leadership in Kasese District is all in smiles after three key leaders and diehards from the opposition defected to the ruling political party in Kyoho village in Bwesumbu subcounty, Kasese Guide Radio has learnt.
During a community meeting convened by Hon. Sowedi Kitanywa, the NRM chairperson for Busongora County North held at Kyoho SDA church in Bwesumbu sub county in Kasese district yesterday, Mr. Noah Bwambale Munyambatha, the former FDC village chairperson for ghe elderly in Kyoho, Mr. Luke Kiiza Mutsungu, a senior FDC mobilizer and Mr. Sezi Muhindo Salyayisugha, the FDC village registrar for Kyoho II village, said they defected over the alleged acts of divisionism, discrimination, inconsistencies and selfishness among their former party leadership that have kept her members on mere hopes for decades.
