It was a day of fanfare, dance, and music as NRM contenders across Kasese District yesterday officially launched their party primary campaign trail.
As early as 10:00 a.m. selected NRM leaders and aspirants had begun assembling in Busongora County North, Kasese Municipality, and Bukonzo County East, Kasese Guide Radio can reliably report.
Six aspirants for Busongora County North parliamentary seat, including Monday John Wakighoma, Eng. Robert Masereka Marule, Hon. Sowedi Kitanywa, and Asiimwe Mike Mbakania among others, unveiled their manifestos at public rallies held in Katoke and Bugoye trading centres.
They pledged to improve infrastructure, Agriculture, empower youth groups, establish a motorcycle loan scheme, and boost healthcare services

However, our reporter observed ferrying of supporters in Katoke and Bugoye campaign rallies that disrupted some candidates on the podium.
In Kasese Municipality, a joint campaign rally was held at Nyakasanga Market, where Mr. Francis Mugisa Kithulha promised to boost incomes of the local community through his personal contribution and lobbying government grants. Mr. Kithulha speaking….
